Architectural History

Versar's architectural historians and historians have extensive experience researching, documenting and evaluating a variety of resource types, including industrial, commercial, and residential vernacular buildings in urban, suburban, and rural settings; World War II and Cold War-era military resources; and bridges and other engineering structures.

Services include preservation planning, developing historical contexts, reconnaissance and intensive-level architectural surveys, National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility evaluations, Historic American Building Survey/Historic American Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) documentation, and mitigation strategies.
