HABS/HAER Documentation

Buildings and structures found eligible for the National Register may require a higher level of recordation known as Historic American Building Survey/Historic American Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) documentation.

Versar's architectural historians have expert knowledge of HABS/HAER standards and are experienced in conducting HABS/HAER recordations for single buildings, multiple buildings within historic districts, bridges and railroads. Versar's architectural staff is familiar with all four levels of HABS/HAER investigations as defined by the National Park Service and the requirements for large format photography for these projects.
