National Register Nomination
Nomination of buildings and structures or entire historic districts determined
eligible for listing on the National Register is an extended process that includes in-depth research, a thorough
property documentation, and completion of the official National Register Nomination form.
The nomination form requires a detailed description of the nominated property, a justification
of significance with the property discussed in terms of its historic context, and fixed boundary definition.
Photodocumentation and a complete bibliography are also required components. Versar has written a variety of
nominations that have been approved by the Keeper of the National Register for official listing.
