Recreational facilities

In the State of Arizona and regionally, Versar is regarded as the premiere designer of municipal recreational facilities (aquatic complexes, skateboard parks, neighborhood and community parks, etc.) and supporting infrastructure. In the metropolitan Phoenix area alone, Versar has designed and/or constructed not less than 30 separate recreational facilities for various municipal clients since our start here in the mid-1980s. These facilities have included simple recreational spray pads for small communities like the Edison Park Aquatic Playground and complex multi-function, multi-use projects like the City of Phoenix Pecos Park Maintenance Facility and Aquatic Center. Versar has provided these services under a variety of project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Design-Build (DB), and Construction Manager at Risk (CM@Risk), and is frequently contracted to provide CM/CA services on behalf of our municipal clients to ensure that their projects are constructed to our exacting design standards.
